The staff were fantastic. I forget the Bulgarian guys name but he did everything possible to ensure we were well looked after. The room was cleaned etc. during breakfast which was ample, they even had gluten-free bread for me. The view from the terrace is magnificent. They even upgraded my room for free before we arrived and unbidden.

Greenhills Country Hotel, hotel in Grouville

Greenhills Country Hotel has a peaceful setting in the heart of the green lanes of St. Peter and offers an outdoor heated pool and pretty, colourful gardens.

We loved everything about this property Greenhills Country Hotel - the warm welcome, the staff, the location, the room, the bar, restaurant, the food, the decor - all top quality. We were allocated a room and parking space so we were able to charge our Tesla. It was a beautiful location - rained mostly so we didn’t get photos. Would definitely return to this one and recommend it!

Near to castle, fabulous beach, local supermarket/convenience shop, good bus route options. Not a wide selection of family restaurants/ options in the village (except for a place called The Ranch which had good range of food options and portions were HUGE).

Grouville has good connections with local attractions via regular buses. Golf course nearby. We liked going to Gorey and St Catherines point. Used our car some days. Parking at the hotel limited, but there was on street parking nearby.

Quiet and relaxing. No tat shops or arcades.

Quiet and relaxing. No tat shops or arcades. No entertainment but easily within a 25 mn bus ride away from St. Helier the capital. Just a wide expanse of sand and sea with a castle at the end. Eateries within walking distance serving all tastes and a Morrisons corner shop in the village. Everywhere clean and smart looking.

We made a pilgrimage to the birthplace of Harry Vardon and needless to say Grouville gripped us.Unfortunately the Royal Golf Club did not make us welcome but this did not surprise me since most golf clubs with a Royal warrant do not have disabled facilities. If you examine the statue of Harry Vardon at the entrance you will notice that Harry is giving visitors the finger .

Our room was bright, newly decorated, clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom which was sparkling! There were tea and coffee and wine glasses provided, plus a little fridge. Breakfasts were great. Everything we wanted. The Staff were brilliant - very hardworking. There was a "secret" sun terrace with tables and chairs, and a dining room which we could use for brought in take-aways if we didn't want to go out for dinner every night. It was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Beausite Hotel over the August bank holiday weekend. The hotel is in an excellent location with regular buses to St Helier (and then on to the rest of the island) stopping right outside. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and there is a nice bar which offers a small range of evening meals if you don’t want the full three course dinner option in the hotel restaurant. There is also a nice indoor swimming pool.

The hotel It's self is a great base for a holiday. It's basic but very clean. The location is fabulous. It's in Gorey village tucked away on a street which has a one way system in place. This means it's quieter and safer or kids. The beach, chemist, some local restaurants, and convenience stores are a very short walk away. There are more restaurants, cafes, etc approx 1km (a 15 minute amble along the coast passed Gorey gardens) away near the castle.

Location, clean bright rooms, updated bathrooms, full breakfasts, and fantastic staff. Not much interaction with the front desk, but the people that take care of the hotel are lovely. The TV lounge and the dining lounge for dining in with take away food are very nice extras.
